Cheesy Rice Casserole

2 c. hot cooked rice
1 c. sour cream
1 1/3 c. French fried onions, divided
1 (16 oz) jar medium salsa, divided
1 c. (4 oz) shredded Cheddar or taco blend cheese, divided

Combine rice and 2/3 cup onions in large bowl. Spoon half of rice mixture into microwavable two-quart shallow casserole. Spread sour cream over rice mixture. Layer half of salsa and half of cheese over sour cream. Sprinkle with remaining rice mixture, salsa and cheese. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Microwave on high eight minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup onions. Microwave one minute or until onions are golden. Makes six servings.
