Spiced Pumpkin Muffins

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. gran. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 c. buttermilk

In large bowl stir together dry ingredients. In medium bowl stir together margarine, pumpkin, buttermilk and eggs. Add to dry mixture; stir just until moistened. Spoon batter into greased or paper-lined 12-cup muffin pan. Bake for 15-20 minutes in preheated 400° oven, until lightly browned. Let stand for five minutes; remove from pan and cool on rack.
