Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Grace Kellner, age 97, who died Monday at the Assumption Home. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.
A visitation for Grace will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Christian Women will pray a rosary at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home.
Grace was born in Cold Spring, MN to Charles and Margaret (Barbian) Gilley. She married Alex Kellner on September 9, 1939 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN. Grace was a homemaker all her life. She enjoyed fishing, playing cribbage, jigsaw puzzles, crossroad puzzles, and quilting. Grace loved going to Marnateli’s with friends and family. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish, the Christian Women, and Catholic United Financial.
Survivors include her sons, John (Carol), Roy (Lynn), Joe (Barb), Bill (Peggy); 9 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Elroy Gilley; sister, Loys Bolduc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex; sisters, Alice Irvine, Ione Ahsenmacher, Vera Weber, Peggy Helmer.
