Nora Kaschmitter, 96
Nora Kaschmitter, 96, of Browerville, passed away peacefully holding her rosary on February 9, 2012, at the CentraCare Health System in Long Prairie. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Long Prairie. Burial was held at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Browerville.
Nora was born September 7, 1915 in St. Cloud, to Lawrence & Elizabeth (Ditch) Kruger. She graduated from Milbank, South Dakota and attended one year post secondary in Cosmetology. Nora owned and operated her own beauty shop for 6 years in Starbuck and Maple Lake for 12 years. She returned home to take care of her mother and worked at H & D Drug until her marriage to Joe Kaschmitter on January 17, 1970 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Cloud.
Nora is survived by her husband Joe of Browerville, nephew Dick (Cathy) Lambert of St. Paul, niece Christina Lambert of Rochester and great nephew Charlie Lambert of St. Paul.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents; brother Andrew and sister Helen Lambert.
