Upsala Council continues to seek new member

Upsala City Administrator Adrian Welle told council members Monday that he has not received any inquires about the open council seat.
Former Council Member Lynn Depa tendered her resignation effective Dec. 31, 2010.
Depa’s letter of resignation stated, “For personal reasons, I am no longer able to continue being a part of the Upsala City Council.” The resignation also included her position on the Upsala Community Development Commission.
Depa had served one year of her two-year term.
The Council accepted her resignation and approved posting the position for the final year of her term.
Applications for the position are available at City Hall.
