Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Loraine Ludivig, age 94, who died Saturday at Cherrywood Advanced Living, Richmond. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.
A visitation for Loraine will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10:00 – 10:40 a.m. Friday morning in the St. Boniface Narthex.
Loraine was born in St. Martin, MN to Edward and Katherine (Schleper) Kollmann. She married Ray Ludivig on September 12, 1938 in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring. She was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress, and pie maker. Loraine loved fishing, camping, and entertaining. She was an adventurer and dedicated care giver.
Survivors include her sons, Robert of Albany (fiancee, Mary Wolf), John (Marsha Trobec) of Arvada Co.; 6 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; special friend, Nick Johannes; sister, Mary Ann; brothers, Art, and Jerry, and daughter-in-law, Joyce.
