Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in St. Nicholas, MN for Roger Kuechle, age 58, who died Friday at his home after a valiant 14 month battle with pancreatic cancer. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
A visitation for Roger will be after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:00 – 10:15 a.m. Wednesday morning at the church.
Roger was born in St. Cloud, MN to Alois and Teresa (Blasius) Kuechle. He married Carol Kerzman on August 22, 1981 in Assumption Church in Eden Valley, MN. He graduated from Rocori High School and attended Dunwoody Institute for brick masonry work. He served in the army reserves and worked as a home builder. Roger was an outdoorsy guy who enjoyed fishing, camping, and snowmobiling. He was a sincere and kind person with a great sense of humor, and a very devoted family man.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; children, Justin (Jessica Miano), and Ashley; grandson, Robby; brothers and sisters, Valerian (Carolyn), Victoria (Henry) Kohorst, Beatrice (Bernard) Imholte, Kevin, Michael (Shirley), and Harold (Kathleen).
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Margie Kerzman, and sister, Patricia Kuechle.
