Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Michael Kuhl, age 57, who died Sunday at Quiet Oaks Hospice. Inurnment will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.
A visitation for Mike will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the St. Boniface Narthex.
Mike was born in St. Martin, MN to Odo and Bernelda (Noll) Kuhl. He served in the U.S. Army from 1972 until 1974. Mike retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2010, after 30+ years of service. He was an avid reader and loved playing cribbage and solving crossword puzzles. Mike was a boy scout and a die hard Twins fan.
Survivors include his mother, Bernelda of Cold Spring; siblings, Judi Mertens of St. Cloud, Mari of Denver, CO, Linda (Don Warner) of Eden Prairie, and Ron (Shannon) of Sartell; four nieces and nephews, and three great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Odo; brother-in-law, John Mertens, and niece Angela Warner.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hauge and the entire Oncology staff at the St. Cloud Hospital along with the staff at Quiet Oaks Hospice for the exceptional care given to Mike.
