Daniel Eberle, 47
Daniel Eberle, 47 of Round Prairie, died unexpectedly at his home on Monday, May 28, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Dan on Saturday, June 2, 2012; 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie. The visitation will be on Friday ,June 1 from 4-8 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday. Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Christ the King Cemetery.
Daniel John Eberle was born February 2, 1965 at St. Luke’s Hospital in St. Paul to De (Dudek) Eberle & William J. Eberle. The family moved to Long Prairie in 1970. Dan graduated from Long Prairie High School and enjoyed truck pulling & working with friends on building race car engines. Dan had a passion for traveling and working on the farm. Dan shared many hours with his brother, Mike, restoring tractors at the Precision Paint business they started together. Most of all he enjoyed the family and his 5 nieces & nephews. Dan was a gentle soul who was a friend to everyone he knew. Dan enjoyed many good times with Julie and her family.
Daniel is survived by his parents; De Eberle of Long Prairie & William (Julie) Eberle of Litchfield, brother, Michael (Jean) Eberle of Long Prairie; sister, Lori (Ray) Franz of Trumbell, CT; nephews, Ryan Eberle of Fargo, N.D., Derek Eberle of Long Prairie, MN, Morgan & Marshall Franz of Trumbell, CT; niece, Nicole Eberle of Long Prairie, special friend, Julie Zylka of Long Prairie and many cousins and friends.
Daniel is preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Anna Dudek and Wilber & Ella Eberle.
