Jane F. Biermaier, 71
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie for Jane F. Biermaier, age 71, of Long Prairie, who passed away on Wednesday, May 23rd at St. Cloud Hospital. Father Rich Walz will officiate and burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Long Prairie. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday and from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday at the church. Christian Mothers will pray the Rosary at 4 PM and Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 PM Friday. Arrangements are entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Stein Chapel in Long Prairie.
Jane Frances Stephan was born on September 1, 1940 in Long Prairie, MN to the late Arnold H. and Frances J. (Kiselewski) Stephan. She graduated from Long Prairie High School. Jane was united in marriage to Gerald “Jerry” Biermaier on June 16, 1962 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie. They settled in Long Prairie where they raised their family. Jane worked at Hart Press (later Banta) for 35+ years, retiring in 2002 from their film handling department. Jane enjoyed visiting at family gatherings and playing cards with her friends, as well as playing bingo. She took great pride in her grandchildren. She liked to travel and take camping trips. Jane would spend her quiet time crocheting.
Jane was a lifetime member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church as well as a member of the Christian Mothers.
Jane is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Dave) Perlinger of Garfield, MN, and Barb (Jay) Noland of Browerville, MN; grandchildren, Natalie (Phillip Keller) Noland of West Fargo, ND, Clayton Noland of Browerville, and Janie Perlinger of Garfield; sisters, Delores (Dick) Johnston of Blaine, MN, and Betty (Dale) Hockemeyer of Long Prairie; in-laws, Jack (Doris) Biermaier, Jim (Shirley) Biermaier, Janice (Joe) Gonsior, Bob (Judy) Biermaier, Ted (Evie) Biermaier, Rosie (Joe) Iten, Delores (Larry) Irsfeld, Joyce (Richard) LaVoie, and Virg (Doug) Noska; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry; and granddaughters, Toni Louise Noland and Paige Lee Perlinger.
Casketbearers will be Greg Hockemeyer, Mike Hockemeyer, Jeff Johnston, Mark Biermaier, Jim Biermaier, Jr., and Bob Gonsior.
