Brownies

3/4 c. cocoa plus 4 Tbsp. oil (4 oz. chocolate squares)
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix chocolate (melt squares and shortening), shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Pour into 9×13” baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes (do not over bake).

Frosting
2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. soft butter
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat smooth and frost.
