A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, MN for Harold W. Jammes, age 58, who died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Cold Spring.
Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond, and from 9:00 – 10:45 Thursday morning at the funeral home.
Harold W. “Butch” was born in Mayville N.D. to Harold M. “Smokey” and Louise (Johnson) Jammes. He married Sandi M. McIlvaine on July 21, 1984 in Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN. Butch was an Independent Owner Operator, with more than 35 years of over the road trucking. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, playing cribbage, and watching Nascar, football, and baseball. His greatest joys were spending time with his grandchildren and noisy, family Sunday dinners.
Survivors include his wife, Sandi; daughters, J.J. (Bob) Larson of Albany, Libby of Skagway, AK, Sarah of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Emma Lyn and Easton Gary Larson; father, Harold “Smokey” Jammes; sister, Susan Jammes, and beloved pets, Aiden and boat buddy, Kenworth.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Jammes; step-mother, Gladys Jammes, and father-in-law, Donald E. McIlvaine of St. Louis, MO.
