Prayer services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Rockville, MN for Matthew J. Theisen, age 23, who died Friday at the St. Cloud Hospital as a result of injuries from a motorcycle accident. Burial will be in the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday at Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
Matthew was born in St. Cloud, MN to Mark and Susan (Lind) Theisen. He worked at GATR Truck Center as a body technician. He was a Mass server for many years with Fr. Maurice Landwehr. Matt was half man and half amazing “MattAmazing”.
In Matt’s words from one of his writings: “Hi, my name is Matt Theisen. You know what I like? I’m gonna tell you what I like. I like motorcycles and I like Mustangs and I like big ole jacked up trucks and I like small screamin’ V8’s and I like big torquey V8’s. But you know what I love? My family and friends.”
Survivors include his parents; siblings, Virginia “Gini” (Scott) Bondhus, Shane (Cami), Theresa (Randy) Borgerding, Tina, Katie (Bret) Althoff, Daniel (Bonnie), Vonnie (Brett) Krell, Luke, MaryAnn, and Chris; many nieces and nephews, and grandmother, Evelyn Theisen.
Matt’s family would like to thank everyone of the St. Cloud Hospital staff for their wonderful care of Matt and his family and friends.
