Family memory writing workshop to start July 24
Have you ever wished that your parents or grandparents would have shared their stories with you? Join Mary Weyrens Tasto in a writer’s workshop where you will learn how to preserve those memories for your family.
The weekly workshop begins July 24, and will continue on July 31, Aug. 7, aug. 14, Aug. 21 and Aug. 28. All sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Stearns History Museum and Research Center, 235 S. 33rd Ave., St. Cloud, MN 56301.
No writing skills are needed — just memories and a willingness to write them down for future generations. Space is limited so sign up early. Deadline for registration is Monday, July 16.
The American Association of Museums accredits the Stearns History Museum and Research Center.
