Highway 15 lane closures in Sartell, St. Cloud start Monday
Motorists on Highway 15 will encounter intermittent single-lane traffic in Sartell and St. Cloud during non-rush hours beginning Monday, July 16. The closures will occur as needed on both directions of Highway 15 between Stearns County Road 120 and the Sauk River bridge through the 2012 construction season.
The lane closures are needed as crews begin work on the Highway 15/Stearns County Road 120 diverging diamond interchange project.
When complete in 2013, the project will increase safety and mobility by replacing the existing Highway 15/Stearns County Road 120 at-grade intersection — meaning vehicles cross at the same level — to a full interchange with exit and entrance ramps.
