Popeye’s Dogs

10 hot dogs
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. instant rice
2 c. milk
2 eggs, beaten

Slice hot dogs and place in buttered 10-inch by 8-inch baking dish. Place drained, cooked spinach in large mixing bowl. Add cheese, garlic, nutmeg, Worcestershire sauce and rice; mix well. Add eggs and milk to spinach and rice mixture and pour over hot dogs. Bake in 325° oven for 40 minutes, or until center is firm to the touch. Makes eight-10 servings.
