Autumn Casserole

3 c. sliced unpeeled tart apples
3 c. sliced carrots, cooked
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cold butter
3/4 c. orange juice

Place half the apples in greased 2-quart baking dish. Cover with half the carrots. In bowl combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Cut in butter until crumbly; sprinkle half over the apples and carrots. Repeat layers. Pour orange juice over all. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Makes six servings.
