Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2012 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for David S. Reisinger, age 80, who was called home to Jesus after a courageous battle with Cancer. Inurnment will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 – 10:45 a.m. Friday morning at the St. Boniface Church Narthex. Arrangements with Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring, MN.
Dave was born in Collegeville to Rupert and Agnes (Wagner) Reisinger. He married Colletta Kellner on August 9, 1958 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. Dave was a draftsman for the Cold Spring Granite Company for 13 years and started Reisinger Construction, building homes in the Cold Spring area. He later owned and operated Reisinger Cabinets for many years. Dave loved his family and always put others needs above his own. He was a member of St. Boniface Parish, Catholic United Financial and Central MN Builders Association.
Survivors include his best friend and loving wife of 54 years, Colletta; children, Mary (Pete) Tomsche of Collegeville, Jean (Dale) Schmitz of Andover, Julie (John) Kippley of Corcoran; sister, Joan (Jerry) Menke; and 8 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; baby sister, Esther; and his brother, Rev. Jerome Reisinger.
