Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Marty (Pearl Lake), MN for Lenora Schroeder, age 84, who died peacefully Tuesday at her home surrounded by her family.  Burial will be in the Holy Cross Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.  Christian Women of Holy Cross and St. Boniface parishes will pray a rosary at 4:30 p.m.  Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue from 9:00 – 10:15 a.m., Saturday morning at the funeral home.

Lenora was born in Eden Valley to Math and Barbara (May) Thielen.  She married Ralph Krippner on June 12, 1950 at Assumption Church in Eden Valley.  Ralph died May 17, 1967.  Lenora married John Schroeder in April 1971 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pearl Lake.  John died August 23, 1989.  Lenora enjoyed all family gatherings, playing cards, quilting, and volunteering at the Assumption Home.  She was a member of Christian Women at Holy Cross and St. Boniface parishes.

Survivors include her children, Margie (Terry) Stueve of St. Cloud, Larry (Helen) Krippner of Pearl Lake, Barb (Rob) Held of St. Francis, Diane (Jeff) McKenzie of Watertown, Deb (Ken) Hansen of Cold Spring, and Jerry (Mary) Krippner of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Tim, Catie, Kristi, Kevin, Kurt, Jessi, Robinson, Deidre, Andy, Jenni, Melissa, Mitchell, Jacob, Lizzy, and Ben; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Alphonse (Marie) Thielen of Eden Valley; brother and sister-in-law, Arnie (Irene) Krippner.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Ralph Krippner and John Schroeder; parents; son, Johnnie Krippner; brothers, Gilbert, Raymond, and Edmund Thielen; sisters, Stacia Arnold and Evelyn Lahr, and brother-in-law, Joe Krippner.
