Patricia L. (Kindstrom) Rieffer, age 73, passed away October 28, 2012. There will be a gathering of friends and relatives at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring, MN from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Patricia married her childhood sweetheart, Jacob Rieffer in 1956. Two sons were born to this union; Jeffrey of Cold Spring and Joel of Swanville. Pat was a stay at home mom until her children were grown. She then worked as an assistant post master in Swanville and later a bindery worker at Hart Press in Long Prairie, until she was awarded her child development associate degree in child care. She stayed in this profession for over 10 years.
Pat is survived by her husband, Jacob “Jay”; two sons; five grandchildren, and one sister, JoAnn Farrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; sister, Marge Werner, and brother, Charlie Duane Kindstrom.
