Ruda uses common sense
To the editor:
Those of us who live in Todd County should return Gerry Ruda to the office of county commissioner. He uses common sense and careful thought in making decisions that affect all of us.
Gerry has demonstrated his leadership and sense of fiscal responsibility. The Todd County Board has kept the county’s level at the same amount for the past three years. The county is doing more with the same amount of tax dollars generated locally. Gerry knows this can happen when commissioners work together.
Working together, the Todd County Board was able to complete the renovation of the historic courthouse below budget and on schedule. Together, they have preserved our courthouse and made it functional. We can be proud of this stately building.
Gerry has also demonstrated his leadership serving as the president of the Board of Trustees for the Great River Regional Library System. Although Todd County’s contribution to the GRRL has been reduced over the past three years, the library is still meeting the needs of its patrons.
Please vote for Gerry Ruda, District 3, Todd County Commissioner on Nov. 6. Keep his experience, integrity and commitment working for you.
