Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Country Manor Chapel in Sartell, MN for Rosina “Rose” Schwegel, age 88, who died Sunday at Country Manor in Sartell. Fr. Al Stangl will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Thursday, at Country Manor Chapel.
Rose was born in Jacobs Prairie to John and Mary (Sand) Hansen. She married Clarence Schwegel on February 21, 1946 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring. Rose was a homemaker all her life and loved being with her family. She was a member of St. Boniface Parish.
Survivors include her children, Dorothy (Roger) Wilson, Diane (Donald) VanNevel, Darlene Ehresmann (Tom Engfer), and Donald (Sue) Schwegel; brother, Lawrence (Marie) Hansen; sisters-in-law, Margaret Hansen and Donna Hansen; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence (1989); parents; siblings, Edward, Roman, Luella Menke, Leo, Andrew, Bernard, Oliva Lardy, Viola Simon, Wilfred, Ervin, Nicholas, Clarence and Mary Ann Terwey, and special memories for Delores Hansen.
Arrangements are with Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
