Forrest Robert (Bob) Webster, 79, from Staples, Minnesota peacefully passed away on February 25, 2013. Bob was born on February 9, 1934, at Detroit Lakes, MN. He was the 6th child of Forrest Daniel Webster and Nellie Hedglin Webster.
He began working for the Northern Pacific Railroad at age 14, and served with the United States Army from 1956-1958. He spent 44 years working for Northern Pacific and BNSF railroad, and retired in the spring of 1996.
Bob married the love of his life, Donna Grund on February 12, 1960 in Robbinsdale, MN. Soon after their marriage came their three daughters. Bob and Donna just celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, playing cards, traveling, photography, NASCAR, church activities, and the England Prairie Pioneer Club. Bob’s passion was wood carving and he did an amazing job. He lived much of his life knowing and loving the Lord.
Bob is survived by Donna, his wife, their three daughters; Sue (Tony) Klejeski, Sherrie (Myron) Kimber, and Brenda (Geoff) Koval, grandchildren Emily MacMichael, Brandon Kimber, Franky Koval, Katie Newman, Andrew Kimber, Matthew Koval, Holly Klejeski, Luke Koval, Brittney Wawrzyniak, Jenni Klejeski, Linsey Kimber, and Nick Klejeski, and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Fern Branchaud, and brother, Howard Webster. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George, Charles, Gordon, Gerald, Nellie and an unnamed infant.
