Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Avon, MN for Frances Minnerath, age 92, who died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the St. Benedict Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, February 25th at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Visitation will continue from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church.
Frances was born in Rockville to Joseph and Ann (Strack) Bellmont. She married Roman S. Minnerath on May 8, 1952 in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville. Frances enjoyed sewing, fishing, gardening, and playing Bingo and Kings Corner. Frances especially loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Benedicts Parish and Cold Spring Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Gail; son, Dean; sister, Caroline Zumwalde; grandchildren, Isaac, Elizabeth, Adam, and Justin Minnerath, and Jason and MissyVanScoik; great-grandchildren, Justin, Jonathan, and Gavin Minnerath, and Alivia, Lilly, and Payton VanScoik.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman; granddaughter, Amanda VanScoik; sisters, Carola, Emma, and Bernice; brothers, Aloys, Lawrence, and Leo.
