Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Roger “Rex” Bernard, age 88, who died Friday at Assumption Home.  Inurnment will be in the St. Boniface Parish Mausoleum.

There will be a gathering of relatives and friends one hour prior to the services in the Church Narthex.

Rex was born in Wakefield Township to William and Elizabeth (Knaus) Bernard.  He lived his entire life in Cold Spring.  Rex farmed for 9 years in Cold Spring; worked 7 years at Landy Packing in St. Cloud, and 23 years at Amcon Block Co. in St. Cloud.  Rex was a member of the Cold Spring American Legion.

Survivors include his brother, Benedict “Benny” (Jean) Bernard of Richmond, and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Leander, Jenny, Gilbert “Buddy”, Roy, Marion, Adeline, Annabel, and Lucille.
