The University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Stearns County will host the Great Garden Get-Together Plant Sale Plus on Saturday, May 18.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. -11 a.m., rain or shine, at Riverside Park, 1725 Kilian Blvd SE, St. Cloud (near Munsinger and Clemens).  The sale will take place in the  shelter and five stations will be located under the awning.

This new event will build on the Master Gardeners’ annual plant sale. It offers area gardeners, whether newbies or old hands, a chance to get advice on pesky garden issues such as tomato problems, testing your soil, growing herbs, how to make and keep a professional-looking container, making black gold (compost) in city yards, and what to do with plants in terms of design.  Attendees will also see demonstrations, mingle and exchange experiences on all sorts of garden topics. There is even one-on-one counseling at the Ask-A-Master Gardener desk.

The annual plant sale continues with plants galore, including perennials to add to the border, flowering annuals for beds or containers, vegetable and herbs for the garden —even houseplants for indoors or porch.
