Rhubarb Cake

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 c. cut-up rhubarb

Beat shortening, sugar and egg. Add rest of ingredients. Use a 9-inch by 13-inch baking pan. Sprinkle on top 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes.
