St. Cloud Hospital Stroke Center is teaming up with the St. Cloud Rox June 30 with a 5:05 p.m. game at Joe Faber Field, St. Cloud. The event is designed to help raise stroke awareness in the community.
A GoldCross Ambulance will be available for close-up views and stroke screening forms will be available.
Baseball bats will be given away by the St. Cloud Hospital Stroke Center. The first 300 children aged 14 and younger will receive a 28” wooden baseball bat and will have the opportunity to run the bases and get autographs on the field after the game.
Stroke survivors, many of which have had their speech affected, will kick off the evening by singing the National Anthem.
Reserved tickets are $10 and general admission tickets cost $7. To purchase tickets, visit www.stcloudrox.com or call (320) 240-9798. For information about the Stroke Center, contact Melissa Freese at (320) 251-2700, ext. 55772.
