Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Lorraine F. Neu, age 92, who died Wednesday at Assumption Home in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the St. Nicholas Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning in St. Boniface Church Narthex, Cold Spring. Arrangements are with the Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
Lorraine was born in St. Nicholas, MN to Henry and Mamie (Spatgens) Wick. She married Tony Neu on May 13, 1941 in St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Lorraine was a homemaker and worked at Assumption Home as a Certified Nursing Assistant for 25 years. She loved quilt stitching, playing cards and casino trips. Lorraine was a member of St. Boniface Parish, St. Boniface and St. Nicholas Christian Women.
Survivors include her children, Edwin, Arlene Wick, Delrose (Bob) Desrosier, Elmer (Anita), Allen (Shirley); sister, Betty Nelson; daughter-in-law, Alice Neu; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 5-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; son, Jim; daughter-in-law, Patty Neu; son-in-law, James Wick; siblings, Donald Wick, Ambrosita Weber, Ralph Wick; grandchildren, Douglas Wick, Stephen Neu; great-grandson, Henry Meyer.
