Louis Henneck, 78 formerly of Browerville died at his home in Sauk Centre on Tuesday, August 20, 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, August 23, 2013; 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Round Prairie, burial will be at Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, Browerville.
Louis was born January 30, 1935 to Frank & Tecla (Bienick) Henneck on the family farm in Roseville Township, Crow Wing County, Minnesota. He joined the National Guard before graduating from High school. After graduating, Louis worked for Standard Parts in Little Falls for two years before going to work full time at Camp Ripley as a Heavy Equipment Repairman. He was in the National Guard for 42 years, retiring in 1999 and then worked as an electrician for 3 years with his brother-in-law.
Louis enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening and loved to spend time with his family. He is a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
Louis is survived by his wife, Joann of Sauk Centre, his children, Lou (Barb) Henneck of Mequon, Wisconsin, James Henneck of Andover, John (Cindy) Henneck of Centennial, Colorado, Jerry (Gayle) Henneck of Duluth, Vivian (John) Medeck of Plymouth, Mary Henneck of Denver, Colorado; sisters, Rita Sahr, Marlene Mead, Esther (Richard) Nelson and 11 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Tecla and 1 brother Leroy Henneck.
