Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Long Prairie for Lucille “Lucy” Rosch, age 61, who died Friday, August 16, 2013 at her home.  Fr. Mark Willenbring will officiate and burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Long Prairie.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with parish prayers at 7 p.m., and after 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home – Stein Chapel in Long Prairie.

Lucille Marcella Rosch was born October 2, 1951 in Long Prairie, Minnesota, the daughter of Edwin and Elvera (Tabatt) Luberts. She graduated from Long Prairie High School in 1969. She moved to Melrose, MN after graduation and married James Rosch in 1989 in Alexandria, MN. They made their home in Long Prairie, Minnesota, where Lucille was a homemaker.

Lucille was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She was also active with the VFW Auxiliary. Lucille enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, playing cards and Yahtzee, casino trips, and especially celebrating the holidays with her family.

She is survived by her husband James of Long Prairie; her mother; children, Missy (Randy) Crosby, Troy (Theresa) Wozniak, and Peggy (Lee) Wollenburg all of Browerville, MN, and Jenni (Rocky) Morgan of Long Prairie; three grandchildren, Monique, Noah, and Mariah; brothers, Glen, Pete (Tina), and John Luberts, all of Long Prairie; sisters, Nancy Schwanke of Hutchinson, MN, Linda (Jim) Fahlin of Browerville, and DeAnna (Dale) Theiler of Long Prairie; brothers-in-law, Frank (Artis) Rosch of Alexandria, MN and Larry (Janet) Rosch of Long Prairie; and sisters-in-law, Marge (Del) Halverson and Kathy (Martin) Jobe of Long Prairie, Nancy Jungwirth of Bemidji, MN, and Mary (Mike) Glaesman of Pelican Rapids, MN.

Lucille was preceded in death by her father, sister Mary Luberts, in-laws Steve and Clara Rosch, and brothers-in-law Chuck Rosch, Randy Schwanke, and Jerry Line.
