Champs Thicker BBQ Sauce

2 c. ketchup
1 c. dark molasses
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Combine all ingredients in saucepan and cook over low heat. As soon as molasses dissolves, take it off heat. Sauce will store in sealed container in refrigerator for up to a month. Makes three cups.
