Herbed Cherry Tomatoes

1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. cider vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. minced fresh parsley
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh basil or 1/2 tsp. dried
1 1/2 tsp. minced fresh oregano or 1/2 tsp. dried
Leaf lettuce, optional

Place tomatoes in medium bowl; set aside. In small bowl combine oil and vinegar. Add parsley, basil, oregano, salt and sugar; mix well. Pour over tomatoes. Cover and refrigerate for at least three hours. Drain; serve on lettuce if desired. Four – six servings.
