Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta, MN for Mary Ellen Bloch, age 71, who died Monday at St. Cloud Hospital. Entombment will be in the parish mausoleum.
Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 8:00 p.m. Friday at St. Mary Help of Christians Parish Center in St. Augusta. Parish Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:30 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning in the parish center. Arrangements with Wenner Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
Mary Ellen was born in Bedford, IN to Albert and Della (Terrell) Boling. She graduated from North Lawrence High School in Salem, Indiana. Mary Ellen married David Bloch on September 20, 1997 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, St. Augusta, MN. She loved to collect ceramic and ornamental mice, playing cards, fishing, dancing, playing bingo and being with her family, grandchildren and friends. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Parish.
Survivors include husband, David; children, Duane Adams, Lloyd (Lori) Adams, Connie (Jim) Seiler, Joyce (Mike) Kuffel, Linda (Butch) Fussy, Sherri Adams; step-children, Scott Bloch, Brian (Gail) Bloch, Kim Davis, Peg (Dave Hook) Loso, Chuck Bloch, Todd (Cristy) Bloch; sister, Joyce (Wayne) Moody; in-laws, Laverne Boling, Bob Boling; 17-grandchildren; 9-great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Arch Brandenburg; siblings, Frank Stotts, Albert Boling, William Boling, Elma Boling, Amy Boling, Scott Boling, Victor Boling; stepson-in-law, Eric Davis.
