Randy Schreifels, Stearns County auditor-treasurer, has announced that an additional location will be added for absentee balloting for the 2014 primary and general elections.
For the convenience of the voters, Melrose City Hall will also serve as an absentee ballot location. This provides another option for voters who plan to vote by absentee for the 2014 primary and general elections.
The Clerk’s Office in the City of Melrose is located at 225 First Street N.E. The phone number for the Melrose city clerk is (320) 256-4278. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
As in the past, absentee voting will also be conducted in the Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office located in the Stearns County Administration Building, Room 148, 705 Courthouse Square, downtown St Cloud. Hours are 8a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Absentee balloting may also be done by mail. Voters can obtain an absentee ballot application online at www.co.stearns.mn.us, or by contacting the Auditor-Treasurer’s Office to have an application mailed or faxed.
