‘Ask a Master Gardener’ sessions scheduled at local libraries

Gardeners do you have questions about your vegetable gardens, flowers, fruit trees, lawns, or other horticulture related questions?  Not sure where to find reliable, researched based information? Join University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners for “Ask a Master Gardener” sessions at local Great River Regional Libraries.

The University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Stearns County will be having “Ask a Master Gardener: sessions at the Great River Regional Library, 1300 W St. Germain St., St. Cloud,  on the following Thursdays from 1-2 p.m.: June 19, July 17, Aug. 21. There will also be a presentation on Sept. 18, on soil and composting from 1-2 p.m.

The University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Benton County will be having “Ask a Master Gardener” sessions at the Great River Regional Library, 251 N 4th Ave. in Foley on the following Mondays from 5-7 p.m.:  June 23, July 7, July 23, Aug. 18, Sept. 8, and Sept.22.

University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners are trained volunteers who are knowledgeable in horticulture related topics.  The Extension Master Gardeners go through a training course and are required to take continuing education hours each year to stay current on the research-based information available.
