Hildegard M. Wiechmann, 85 of Belgrade, died Sunday morning, June 15, 2014 at her home in Belgrade. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Belgrade. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home where there will be a 5:00 p.m. rosary and 7:00 p.m. parish prayer service. Visitation will continue on Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred

Hildegard M. Wiechmann was born on March 2, 1929 in Albany, the daughter of Henry and Margaret (Keppers) Bloch. She attended country grade school in Dist. #143 near Albany. On July 6, 1954, Hildegard was united in marriage to Alphonse Wiechmann at Seven Dolars Catholic Church in Albany. They made their home in Belgrade where she raised her eight children.

Hildegard was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church where she was an active member of Christian Mothers, St. Teresas mission group for 14 years, taught 1st grade CCD for several years and was a member of Catholic United Financial. She was also a member of the Belgrade VFW auxiliary Post #1825.

Hildegard died Sunday morning, June 15, 2014 at her home in Belgrade at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband, Al; children, John Determan of Long Prairie, Charles and Catherine Wiechmann of New Richmond, WI, Bonnie and Ray Thies of Cold Spring, Joyce and Bob Thordson of Wyoming, Ron and Dee Wiechmann of Dayton, OH, Sandy and Philip Roelike of Belgrade, Roger and Stephanie Wiechmann and Elaine and Curt Berger of St. Cloud; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Leona Magner, Sr Loretta Bloch OSF, Donald and Bea Bloch, Tex and Carol Bloch, Bea and Larry Britz, Julie Fernandez, Mary Jane and Manny Phillips, Eileen and Jim Dweyer, and Delores Bloch; and sisters-in-law, Yvette Bloch, Dorothy Bloch and Donna Bloch.

Hildegard was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Christine Douiver Bloch; daughter, Sharon; great-grandson, Xavier; siblings, Sylvester, Lawerence, Leroy, Gilbert, Richard, Ralph, Sr Cordelia and Dorothy Boecker.
