It’s a sad day in Iraq

To the editor:

It is a sad day to see what is happening in Iraq today after our men and women and others fought for them.

Now the terrorists are taking over the bases our military built there and are using tanks and all military equipment against the Iraqi people and soldiers.

We can thank Obama for this mess.

When he got Bin Laden, he bragged about it, and he said al Qaeda was not a threat anymore. That should have been top secret and let the world wonder what happened to them. You had to be pretty naive to think that would stop them.

He also set the date for withdrawal from Iraq so the terrorists just sat back and waited so they would have clear sailing as the Iraqi army was not good enough to stop them.

I said at the time that it was not good to withdraw in that situation, especially after our men and women paid the ultimate price with their lives for what?

Now our so-called president released five of the most notorious terrorists to go back so they can come back to us.

Hillary Clinton and Chuck Angel said they will not be a problem. They will be watched for a year. How stupid do they think we are?

I would not trust them anymore than I could throw a one-ton bull by the tail.

How are people feeling that lost fathers, husbands, wives, sons and daughters in this blunder?
