Italian Carrots & Potatoes

3 large carrots
1 c. mashed potatoes
3 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. chopped parsley, (or dried)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2/3 c. milk
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash the carrots and cut into large pieces and boil gently until soft. Drain and mash with a fork. Mix the milk, potatoes, parsley, garlic powder, butter and carrots and put into a buttered casserole and bake in oven for 20 minutes.
