To the editor:
Most Catholics have probably heard about Mary, in Her Scapular Promise.
July 16 is the feast day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, and July 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima told the three children Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco, that she would come on Oct. 13 of that year also as Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
The reason for this is important, for she held out her Brown Scapular as a gift and promise to all who will pray to her and wear this habit as a sign of salvation. And you will not suffer the fire of hell if you wear it with confidence and love, trusting in her motherly protection.
Now, there are many who say, it’s not necessary to pray to Mary, we pray to God. Well, please sit down as you read the rest of this letter for it may shock you.
There are proofs from the Holy Bible that Elias, the fiery prophet who was taken alive in a chariot to heaven, recounted in the Old Testament, was also the one who appeared with Christ and Moses at the transfiguration that Peter, James and John witnessed during our Lord’s agony in the garden, before his passion and death on the cross.
Our Lady made the astounding pronouncement, “The Order of Carmel is destined to endure until the end of the world for Elias, the first patron of the order, asked this of my son, at the transfiguration.”
Remember, Elias was the first one under Mary’s mantle at the foot of Mt. Carmel and he will be preaching Mary’s Brown Scapular before the end of the world.
There are conditions to keep, if you want to gain the Sabbatine privilege, to be released from purgatory on Saturday after your death.
