Double Chocolate Cookies

1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 – 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa

Cream sugar and butter, beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in flour, cocoa and soda on low speed. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 8 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool one minute, remove from cookie sheet.
