A brand new program being offered at Eagle’s Healing Nest is an in-house songwriting and recording facility. This 10-year work-in-progress is up and running through the efforts of singer/songwriter and recording artist Jim Anthony. He emphasizes that people don’t need to sing or play an instrument. From a concept to recording the song, everything can be done at the Nest. “Songwriting is a great way to deal with trauma,” he said. “It’s a tool to help veterans. It gives them an outlet to get their story out.”

Eagle’s Healing Nest in Sauk Centre offers a unique environment for veterans who need help and healing. There are a wide variety of activities and programs available for veterans to choose from. One of the programs which has been in place for the past two years is an addiction counseling program run by treatment director Tammy Morales, called Healing Grace.
Healing Grace experienced a large influx of clients during summer 2023.
